Earth Day Spring Cleanup at Wolfe’s Neck Center

Looking for a great way to get outside, enjoy the spring weather, and make a big difference in your community? We would love to have you join us for our Earth Day Spring Cleanup here at Wolfe's Neck Center.

Friday, April 21st, 9 AM – 4 PM

It takes a lot of work to get Wolfe’s Neck Center up and ready for the season, and it would be impossible without the help of our incredible volunteer community. Volunteers can join us for a full day by signing up on the form below. All volunteer work will involve manual work.  We’ll also be providing a cookout lunch for all of our volunteers featuring our very own Wolfe’s Neck Center food!

Tasks will involve raking, clipping and pruning trees and brush, moving downed branches and limbs, helping pull pesky weeds in gardens and pastures, and more. Be prepared for some tough work, but some great times meeting our staff and your neighbors, and helping us be ready to greet the summer!

*Please note below if you have any special skills or requests for a volunteer job. We want all excited volunteers to have a chance to support the farm!

What to Bring

Please bring the following, and be prepared for a fun day of outside work.

·         Water Bottle

·         Work Gloves (if you’ve got some)

·         Loppers or small hand saw (if you’ve got one!)

We will provide all other tools as well as some small snacks and a delicious prepared lunch!
